Dean has particular expertise of conflict resolution in civil/commercial law having practiced in the area for over 10 years. He is aware that in addition to the financial aspects of a dispute there are other emotional and time costs involved.

Before becoming a barrister and mediator Dean spent several years as a Solicitor, and this previous experience gives him a rounded perspective on the legal process. His experience as both Solicitor and Barrister gives him an appreciation not just of the legal issues involved in your dispute but also the practical and personal impact any proceedings will have on you. As a mediator, his aim is to help the parties through the process and assist in reaching an agreeable settlement based on a full understanding of the circumstances.

In his extensive civil law practice Dean regularly undertakes cases in all aspects of civil law, including contractual disputes both for and against commercial organisations. His experience of dealing with cohabitation matters, property disputes includes leasehold enfranchisement, possession, notice requirements, assignment and repairing covenants. He is also experienced in cases including professional negligence, and personal injury.
